Do you have a minimum order?
Our minimum order is $200. The minimum order requirement can be waived by a sales manager on a per customer, per order basis. If you need our minimum order waived, please contact our sales team at 1-714-257-9391.
I’m just starting out and my business isn’t set up yet. Can I buy from you?
Yes, you can buy from us. We have several programs to help you get started.
If I am a first-time buyer and I want to place a small sample order to see the quality of your fashion jewelry, do I have to spend $200.00?
Qualified first-time buyers are subject to be exempt from purchasing minimums on their initial sample orders. Please contact our sales team for more information.
Do you offer dropshipping?
Dropshipping is a new program offered by J. Goodin, Inc. We are currently publishing all of our products into a soft catalog in .xls, .csv, and .xml. Learn more about the Drop-Ship Program that became available Fall 2008. Our jewelry catalog is offered at wholesale list price plus a per-item shipping and handling fee. Do you ship internationally?
International business is a key area of growth for J. Goodin. As the US dollar has devalued against foreign currencies, it has made international buying from the US quite attractive. We ship our fashion jewelry products worldwide via USPS (United States Postal Service), our lowest cost option to date, and UPS.
How quickly do you ship an order once it’s placed?
Orders that arrive before 10am PST typically go out the same day. Orders that arrive after this time typically go out the next day. Shipping and payment confirmations may cause delays.
Can I use your photos?
All materials contained on this site are exclusively the property of J. Goodin, Inc. and may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without our prior written permission. Use of our pictures is inherently granted in the following two circumstances:
1. Customer has purchased the item from us previously.
2. Customer has been approved for the Dropship Program.
Any use of the materials contained on this site must be for the sale or resale of J. Goodin, Inc. products.
Does your jewelry tarnish?
All costume jewelry will eventually tarnish over time. However, J. Goodin plates all our products with double the US standard to ensure exquisite quality and lengthy lifespan.
Do you guarantee your products?
All of J. Goodin products are guaranteed for 30 days for any manufacturer’s defects.
Is 925 stamped inside for sterling silver base metals?
All .925 sterling silver products are stamped as required by law.
Do you have a catalog?
Jewelry Catalogs are available to all of J. Goodin’s customers. Please call and request yours today.
What types of stones do you use?
We use only the highest of quality cubic zirconias in all of our products.
What is drop shipping?
A drop shipper is a manufacturer or authorized wholesale distributor who will ship your single item orders directly to your customers. You, the retailer, will be provided the marketing materials such as photos, descriptions, specs on your website. This product information (pictures, descriptions, specs) is sold at retail value. Once you receive an order you will email or call the drop ship supplier with the customer’s order information and they will in turn ship the product directly to your customer.
Why did you decide to start drop shipping?
The concept of drop shipping was influenced largely by the Just-In-Time (JIT) movement in manufacturing; the concept of a reduced inventory became popular as a cost reduction method. In turn, reduced inventory in factories resulted in a lower risk and cost savings. Likewise, the retail world embraced similar benefits of an “on-demand” type of supply chain with drop shipping methods. Drop shipping with J Goodin will allow the retailer to cut inventory, labor, packaging, and shipping costs. This will enable you to focus your efforts on marketing your business to new and existing customers.
Are there disadvantages to drop shipping?
Yes. The biggest disadvantages are some of the following:
1. Drop Shipper is in control of when an item is shipped. J Goodin’s policy is to ship within 48hrs of receipt of order form.
2. Retailers must abide by minimum price requirements.
3. If an item is discontinued by the wholesaler, the retailer has no control and must take that item off their catalog or website.
4. Retailer must watch inventory feeds distributed by the wholesaler closely to ensure the products advertised for sale are in stock.
What are the advantages to drop shipping?
There are many ways to benefit from drop shipping. Some of the benefits are as follows:
1. Overhead costs are cut significantly.
2. You get to set the retail price at whatever you want for nice profits.
3. There are no minimum order requirements.
4. You pay the wholesaler only after you receive an order.
What kind of profit margins can I make with drop shipping?
Many wholesale companies will give a retailer between 25-75% discounts off suggested retail pricing (MSRP). The final agreed pricing model is between you and the wholesale distributor.
What is a Minimum Advertised Price Policy (MAP)?
This is the lowest price you are allowed to advertise our products for sale at. A MAP policy is in place to prevent products from being sold below their wholesale price.
What is a blind drop shipper? A blind drop shipper will ship product to your customers, under your name only. They will not have any of their information (i.e. company name, address, advertising…etc.) on the products they send to your customers. J Goodin, Inc. is a blind drop shipper.
Why does J. Goodin need my credit card information on file?
We will need your credit card information on file so we can bill you for the products you order. Remember, as your customers pay you the retail cost of the products, you will need to pay the drop shipper for the wholesale cost of the products to be sent. It is easier for the drop shipper to simply bill your credit card.
Should my customers pay me first before I pay the drop shipper?
We recommend that you collect your customer’s payment before placing an order with us.
Do you Drop Ship internationally?
Yes, we do.
Will J. Goodin supply pictures of their products for my website?
We will supply you with one to three pictures of each product available for drop ship.
How fast can I start making money with drop shipping?
Much of this will depend on how well you have put together things in your business plan and on your website. Simply having products to sell on the internet usually will not make money without a solid strategy and marketing plan in place.
Do I need a reseller number to sell products from J. Goodin?
Yes, in fact in order to buy from most reputable drop shippers, you will need to provide your reseller number or tax id number. We the wholesale drop shipper, need to show proof to the government that we can sell to you without charging you a sales tax.
Does J. Goodin Give Product Pictures?
Yes we do. The photo URL is included in our data feeds.

Does J. Goodin require a minimum order requirement for the Drop Ship Program?

How long is the delivery process once an order is placed?
Once our shipping department receives your order, they will process and ship your order within 48hrs of receipt of your order form. Tracking information will be emailed back to you as well.
